Gleeson Homes approved to build 89 new homes in Horncastle
Stunning 2, 3 and 4 bedroom semi and detached homes
Sheffield based housebuilder Gleeson was last week granted permission to build 89 new homes located on land off Winceby Gardens in Horncastle.
The vacant piece of land will be transformed into a total of 89, beautiful new 2, 3 and 4 bedroom semi and detached homes all with parking and gardens. Prices are anticipated to start from £145,995, with many customers expected to benefit from using the Government backed Help to Buy and Home Reach part buy – part rent schemes to assist them into buying their dream home. With these schemes available, Gleeson will ensure that many of these homes are cheaper to buy than local rent levels.
Construction at the new development, Winceby Fields is set to commence in Spring 2021 with an anticipated sales launch of Winter 2021. Prospective homeowners can register their interest online now.
Wayne Sutton, Regional Operations Director for Gleeson in Scunthorpe said “We are delighted that we have been given the go ahead to develop the site at Winceby Gardens in Horncastle. This is the first site we have in this area and I am sure that local people will find our homes extremely affordable. At Gleeson we take great pride in helping young people to get onto the property ladder and into home ownership.
“Future home owners at this development will benefit from plenty of amenities nearby, including numerous supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, parks, sports centres and good schools, meaning this new community will be the perfect place for first time buyers, couples, growing families and solo buyers to live.”
As part of the planning application, Gleeson has agreed to contribute towards education and travel in the local area.
Gleeson is looking for local labour and sub-contractors to work on these exciting new homes, including applications from local young people who are interested in the Gleeson apprenticeship scheme.
With prices typically 20% below the average market price, Gleeson boasts a unique position in the housebuilding sector, building high quality, low cost homes, for people on low to medium incomes in the North and Midlands.
